Adidas TMAC-1 Year of the Snake

Special box to celebrate the year of the snake
Look what the mailman delivered.  Today I received my Year of the Snake Adidas TMAC-1.  I ordered these on Sunday night from Pickyourshoes and have been patiently waiting and they have finally arrived!  When I first heard the news that these were releasing I was hype, the TMAC line by Adidas was awesome and I loved the sneakers that were released, this was a chance for me to re-live my childhood somewhat and also have a dope colorway.

Outside View
The first thing that sets these sneakers apart is the metallic turquoises snake like texture.  This is a synthetic upper.  The turquoises is accompanied with gold accents that is on the strip and also on the branding.  You also see the shell to cap that was specific to the TMAC line for protection in black which complements the turquoises and gold very well.

The forefoot of the shoe is perforated.  This is to make the shoe breathable when playing.

Inside and Outside Views
There is much technology that is incorporated into this shoe.  First off the ADIPRENE+ which is located in the forefoot.  The ADIPRENE technology is a shock absorbent material that protects your heel at impact due to the cushioning.  With ADIPRENE+ helps with propulsion and efficiency due to its responsive nature.  There is also TORSION SYSTEM which is a lightweight arch support at the midfoot.  This allows players the ability to move the forefoot and rearfoot independently of each other in order to have maximum stability and surface adaption.  There is also the traditional herringbone traction.

The inside of the shoe has an awesome artwork that goes along with the celebratory theme.

Hats off to Adidas with this sneaker.  There are not too many times where the shoe actually looks just as good as the promotional photos.  I am very happy with these and cannot wait to wear these.

Let me know your thoughts about the shoe below in the comments!
